Essay on my country my pride Nepal

 My country my pride Nepal

If one loves someone like one's parents, that is one's motherland. Like everyone else, I love my motherland and am proud of it. I was born in this soil and grew up in this soil. And my motherland is beautiful and unique Nepal like nothing else.

Nepal is a small and beautiful country in South Asia with an area of 147,516 square kilometers. And it lies between India on three sides and China on one side. If you look at the map of the world, Nepal looks very small geographically, but its art, literature, culture and geography are unique.

The high snow ranges, mountains, terai, madhes and valleys that have snow for twelve months are the characteristics of the landlocked country of Nepal.

If any country's flag is different from all other countries, it is the flag of Nepal. Our flag is very unique and cannot be compared to the flags of other countries because of its shape. It also has a hidden meaning behind it which represents the country's peace-loving and friendly nature, bravery and immortal history.

Nepal is the land of birth of world famous personalities. Gautam Buddha, preacher of peace and founder of Buddhism, Prithvi Narayan Shah, creator of modern unified Nepal. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, etc., was the first person to reach the summit of Mount Everest with Hillary.

Not only them, Amarsingh Thapa, Bhimsen Thapa and other brave soldiers showed extraordinary bravery to prevent the British Empire from colonizing Nepal.

"A patriot has two mothers, one who gave birth to him in this world and the other is the country which gave him his existence and identity."

There are many religions and many gods in Nepal, but everyone respects each other's gods. Nepal has never disputed or contested its cultural differences. Everyone respects each other's religion, culture and traditions.

And most importantly how can we forget the Gurkhas. Gurkhas have fought in many wars, including both World Wars and the Falklands War. Known as the most skilled and fierce warriors in the world.

"If a man says he is not afraid to die, he is either lying or a Gorkhali."

Since then Gurkhas have served with distinction around the world, earning an incredible 13 Victoria Crosses for acts of extreme bravery, as well as countless other medals. Nepal could never become a British colony because of the Gurkhas.

Finally, I am proud to be a Nepali citizen. We Nepali people respect each other. I think most people love the nation. Mother and motherland seem to be one and the same. I hope our country Nepal will be the most famous in the world.
