Child labour
Childhood is the best part of the life,full of innocence and joy. The time when being free from all responsibility and enjoying but this time of childhood is ruined by child labour. Child labour refers to the work that deprives children of their childhood, child rights, their dignity,potential and that is physically and mentally harmful for them.
It destroys the best part of life, childhood of a child and break the future into pieces. It is one of the major problems in developing countires where children are forced into labor against their will and he/she is deprived of their rights. Child labour deprives the kid from the opportunity of having a normal childhood, a proper health, education and physical and mental well being.
There exist several causes of child labor but the major cause of child labour in poverty. In the least developed countries like Nepal. Many people live below poverty line, parents cannot fulfill the basic need of their family. So, the children's are forced to work for their day to day living.
Besides when parents are illiterate, They are unknown abot the importance of education and don't allow childrens to gain education. They give priority to work more than the education. In addition, many industries prefer to hire childrens in their works as they are small and they don't have to them full like adult. Other causes of child labor are due to absence of parents, overpopulation, and lack of proper government laws and protection.
"Child are meant to learn not to earn"
If child labour continues to prevail, it can bring major adverse consequences in the future and as well as in the physical and mental health of children's. Child labour directly affects the future of the country,destroying the capabilities of the youths, depriving them on pursuing their dreams of being professionals such as architects, doctors and even professional sport players.
Child labour also exposes children to physical and mental hazards endangering their lives. This in tum affects their life morally.it makes the child develop mentally fast which is a dangerous sign for youths. This can lead them to becoming gangsters and bad people of the society.
So, In order to eradicate child labour,free education should be provided to poor childrens, employment opportunities should be provided to peoples. like wise family size should be maintained and orphans kids should be cared properly and at last strict law should be made and implemented. People should be made aware of child labour.
Thus, In conclusion child labour is a curse for children's which hinders the growth of a child which is needed to be eradicated through our joint effort. It is not only destroying the future of a child but also destroying the future of a country so, we should end tgis system as soon as possible.
