Bio diversity means the variety of living beings living in our earth in a particular place and environment.'Bio' means living beings and 'diversity' means varieties, it simply means variety of living beings. It includes all the living beings from all sources including terrestrial,marine ,microorganism and other animals.

Biodiversity differ from places to places. Diversity of plants and animals are found according to places. Some are in terrestrial ecosystem where as some are found in marine.

Nepal occupies the 0.01% of the total land of the world and 0.03% of the land of Asia. We can found total 35 forest, 75 vegetation and almost all type of ecosystem in the world expect marine and desert ecosystem, As biodiversity differ from ecosystem to another and Nepal has almost every type of ecosystem we can already say that Nepal is rich in Biodiversity.

There are high mountain,high hills and plain surface of teari region where different spices of plant and animal are found. Nepal is rich in physical diversity also. Physical diversity has created diversity in ecosystem and climatic situation.

Each three region of Nepal has it,s own topography,climatic condition and vegetation. This diversity has helped in creating Wholesome Biodiversity. Mountain region lies in north, Teari in south and hilly in middle of mountain and teari region.

Each ecological region has different Climate,diversity,land topography and altitude where different plant and animals exist. Due yo Nepal such unique and beautiful feature We can Thus say that Nepal is rich in Biodiversity.
